Tina B. 2007 will explore the genre of performance art from a wide array of different artistic strategies, approaches and perspectives, inviting artists from around the globe to put on performances at high profile and attractive locations in Prague.

The Performance Art section is the focal point of the main festival event, concentrating art, audiences and the media at prime locations in the Czech capital.

A number of established and emerging artists will be participating in the PERFORMANCE ART section of this year’s festival, including Italian artists Nico Vascellari, Marcella Vanzo and Sissi, renowned Korean artist Kimsooja, American artists Janine Antoni and Adam Pendleton - who will also be presenting a new PERFORMA Commission as part of the upcoming PERFORMA07 biennial in New York - extravagant Argentine artist Daniel Gonzalez and the legendary czech artist Jiri Kovanda. Tina B. is inviting artists to stage performances during the Special Events Week.

Ongoing documentation on film and in photo-series will be shown. In addition, site-specific large-scale artworks will be on display.
